| 1998/99 season proved once again
to be an outstanding one with some good football being played by all.Not only that but
also coming away with 3 Gala wins and 2 losing Finalists out of 7 entered.Well Done. With a new intake of players we have managed to put out 3 teams most weeks with some encouraging signs from one or two. A Team was once again hard to beat losing only 3 out of 26 and scoring 70 goals but conceding only 14. B Team found it much harder playing mostly against A Team opposition.They played 26 matches but found scoring a problem. C Team have done very well in the second half of the season only losing 3 of the last 9 matches. Losing heavily early season to nil, now beating or drawing with the same teams.Well Done. Thanks to all parents,Jill,Kath and especially new kit sponsors Lightcliffe Motors. |
